Two Years Old

Cody turned two this week.  What a fun age.  I love watching this little boy grow!  I never dreamed that little boys could be so much fun.  We spent the morning of his birthday at Kangaroo Zoo with a friend and her two girls that are the same age as my two little ones.  They had a blast.  Cody is a little dare devil and I am amazed that we have not ended up in the emergency room with him yet.  He would climb to the highest slide and when he got to the top he would jump as high as he could and not even hit the slide until he was halfway down.  My heart would jump every time he would go down a slide.  He is crazy and if you tell him that he will say, "No, you crazy."  I love my little man and feel so blessed that he has come in to our lives.  He brings so much excitement and joy into our home and he loves life!!  He loves his sister and can not wait for her to wake up in the morning and runs to give her a hug at every first sight.  She is the best big sister and does her best to teach and help him understand.  She doesn't even hit back when he hits her out of frustration (yes, we are going through a hitting phase).  We were not able to celebrate until Friday because of busy schedules but he was okay with that and was so excited at the gifts and the cake.  He tried many times to take the tractors off the cake and play with them.  At the end of the day after all the Grandparent's had left we let him dig into the side of the cake and eat what he wanted.  We have given hm the nickname "turbo" because he does not stop.  What fun little boys can be!!  I love you Cody and Happy Birthday!

Life is Crazy

I wish that there was more time in the day.  Time to enjoy life's little moments.  Moment's of joy, happiness, and even sadness.  I feel like all I do is run, run, run and I am not even running!!!  Hallie Jo has been part of a little dance team this year and has really become a good little dancer.  She is also excelling at gymnastics but it has become a burden to try to do both so she will not be dancing on a dance team next year, however, she has really taken to ballet so I will try to keep her in a ballet class.  These past few months have been crazy busy with Dance competitions for Hallie Jo, Gymnastics competitions for me and a very curious two year old.  I feel like I have not had a real weekend for a very long time.  Yesterday was our end of the year gymnastics recital.  It went very well but I am always so glad when it is over.  It took about two weeks to prepare the gym for the recital and about two months to prepare the gymnasts.  But in the end all was well and it ran very smoothly.  Here are some pics of our very crazy couple of months.  Just a few more weeks and we will be able to relax a little.  Hallie Jo's final dance recital will be on Saturday June 5th at Timberline Middle School in Alpine at 7:00p.m.  There is no charge to watch!!

She is on her knees on the left!  This is her favorite Dance!!
My parents have a slot machine at their cabin.  It is Cody's favorite thing!

They got to perform at a Jazz Halftime.  It was crazy!!  She is on the very right in the line!

She will dance anywhere if there is music playing!
He really is this happy!!  Except for the tantrums!

Another Competition, Another Dance!
Attending a "Jump" Convention with her Team.  Lots of Fun!!

All of the cousins!! You did a Great Job!

The theme for the recital was "Think Big" with some very Big Balloons!

Wishing he could take part in all the fun!
That's all for Now!!
